Mission Statement: To promote health and fitness in Atlanta through the sport of triathlon, provide service to the community though volunteer projects, and help introduce more minorities to the sport of triathlon.
The Atlanta Triathlon Club training program is designed for athletes of all levels (beginners to advanced) who want to train for triathlons in a group setting. Our training program includes group training activities 5-6 times/week under the supervision of certified coaches. These training sessions will work on endurance, speed, power, and technique.
Detailed training schedules and group training sessions are e-mailed weekly and posted on the on-line discussion forum. You are welcome to join as many or few training sessions as you want. Most training sessions will be broken down into ability based groups to allow you to train with others of similar abilities. Training locations are convienient to all areas of Atlanta.
In addition, weekly informational seminars, hands-on clinics, and performance testing will help you maximize your potential. We have specific target group races; however, training schedules can be modified for most other races.
